Mikleo is a seraph, a spiritual being that resembles a human but cannot be seen, heard, or touched by humans without a sufficient level of resonance. Resonance basically means their level of instinctive or spiritual power, depending on species.
Most people cannot interact with seraphim, and go about their lives without even noticing them. To combat this, his ability to manifest (which is normally limited to mirrors with enough focus) has been boosted. So he's, you know, playable.
There are a number of exceptions to the rules, of course. Those who can see and hear seraphim in canon are:
For Drift Fleet purposes, anyone's resonance with Mikleo will increase the more they are around him, eventually making it so he can be at first heard, and then seen. Whichever crew members he has who don't fall in the above categories, for example, ought to start hearing him after a couple of months. Visibility follows some time after.
Mikleo will never be visible in photos or on the communicator, but his voice will always work on it regardless of resonance.
To help me out, please let me know on this post if Mikleo is able to interact with your character in person! And if you're not sure, we can sort it out here. /o/
ALSO ALSO BECAUSE I AM A FORGETFUL LOSER- Mikleo has the same ability to sense malevolence as Sorey, but I neglected to include this on his permissions. So if you can fill out Sorey's permissions as well, it would help us both out!

What's their resonance like? Nel is entirely unmagical, but elves in his world retain some amount of affinity with nature/mysticism. I don't know if it's enough to affect how quickly he sees Mikleo though!

What's their resonance like? RESONANCE LIKE WHOA! He's a fuckin' dragon, with all sorts of ties to magic, natural energies, and spirits/dead things.

Species: Human (Clearsight)
What's their resonance like? Coil is a necromancer, which gives him a good amount of magic-sense and affinity with spirit-things, and he's also a Clearsight-- which, in his world, means that he can see through magical illusions, can sense magic, generally see things that normal mortals can't. So, I'm guessing that this would probably include Mikleo?

I failed to add this until much later, but Mikleo has the same ability as Sorey in that he can sense malevolence. In his canon, dragons are like, the PEAK of bad when it comes to malevolence levels and extremely dark scary creatures.
Since they're meeting in person, do you think you could have a look at Sorey's permissions and let me know if Tek might have any? Since it would affect how they interact.

Nel: doesn't have a evil or violent bone in his harmless little body, but he is extremely weak in character. He's got problems with addiction, is kind of manipulative and dishonest, has little bravery or willpower, etc. Don't know if this counts, but that's what's up!
Tek: this guy is kind of tricky. Dragons in his world are 'good' beings, made up of neutral, natural worldstuff energy. His element is Death, but it's of the natural variety--so, spooky and haunting, but not something gross like necromancy or unnatural death. HOWEVER he has gone against the ways of his kind and is technically evil-aligned. He's not as evil as he could be, but he's definitely not a good guy. Soooo... not sure how all of these factors would register. I can elaborate on anything, if need be.

So basically, if Tek is anything like that, Mikleo could talk with him as long as he isn't too close, but it might not be a long conversation in person unless Sorey is around to balance out the discomfort. Like a big fluffy anti-malevolence bubble.

I'd say that if it's mostly just emotional/mental malevolence, Tek would be pretty intense but tolerable, since he's actually been doing a little better in the Fleet than in his canon. But, if the fact his rebellion against his kind literally grates against the will of Fate comes into play too, then it would be PRETTY DAMN INTENSE. If that makes any sense.
