They were fighting on the network, then Zaveid asked me to check on Dezel...I'm headed over to him now but you know how cavalier Zaveid can be. I'm worried about him too.

I'm sure he'll only try to brush it off as usual, but I'll try to track him down.

Keep me posted on how Dezel is, when you know.

Mikleo, I found Dezel. He's doing all right; I thought he would be hurt worse because of how serious Zaveid sounded, but he's just a little banged up.

He says we should hang out sometime.

Clay requested that? I'm not opposed at all, but wouldn't his lack of resonance cause problems for him?

[Clay wouldn't intentionally ignore him, he knows, but it would make conversations kind of weird. And using the communicator would mean everyone else gets an echo. It's a strange problem, but he doesn't have a solution for it that isn't awkward.]

Yeah, he did. He says that we'll find a way around that.

But he really wants you guys to try movies and popcorn.

Oh, I see- by "we" you meant with Sorey, as well.

That might simplify things, actually. Sorey may be able to share some of his resonance with Clay. If that works, he could at least hear my voice.

I won't deny that.

[Sorey is his vessel, after all! ....Among other reasons.]

It isn't "sharing", technically, more like nurturing someone's natural resonance through contact and channeling our voices through his body. We had to do it a few times on our own world, when we had information that Sorey couldn't properly convey.

Yes, that's how it worked with other humans in the past. Sorey's much stronger as a Shepherd than he was back then, so I see no reason why it wouldn't work.

And hey, if nobody thinks it's weird for Clay and Sorey to be holding hands the entire time, then there's no problem at all!]
