Honestly, I'm still a bit overwhelmed by the concept of movies. The technology is so far beyond what exists at home.

The two are connected! It's all this technology that's new to me. I still see plenty of things that I never imagined existed, even after this long.

I'm afraid that feeling doesn't ever completely stop. Even I still get surprised by things sometimes.

It's not unpleasant, mostly. I just feel a little lost sometimes.

Clay requested that? I'm not opposed at all, but wouldn't his lack of resonance cause problems for him?

[Clay wouldn't intentionally ignore him, he knows, but it would make conversations kind of weird. And using the communicator would mean everyone else gets an echo. It's a strange problem, but he doesn't have a solution for it that isn't awkward.]

Yeah, he did. He says that we'll find a way around that.

But he really wants you guys to try movies and popcorn.

Oh, I see- by "we" you meant with Sorey, as well.

That might simplify things, actually. Sorey may be able to share some of his resonance with Clay. If that works, he could at least hear my voice.

It isn't "sharing", technically, more like nurturing someone's natural resonance through contact and channeling our voices through his body. We had to do it a few times on our own world, when we had information that Sorey couldn't properly convey.

Yes, that's how it worked with other humans in the past. Sorey's much stronger as a Shepherd than he was back then, so I see no reason why it wouldn't work.
