[SURPRISE. though he suspects Zaveid already knows that enough of this situation is beyond abnormal- he knows that Dezel finds the empty space and lack of air uncomfortable. No doubt Zaveid has enough affinity with his element to notice the same problem sooner or later.]

No location in space, right? Just that feeling of nothing around.

[ Because there's no wind. There's no real air. For the first time in a long time Zaveid feels... Well, uncomfortable is a very gentle word for it, but it's more than that. It's like he's cut off from himself, and that's more than a little terrifying. ]

No one here know where we are. We've been traveling in a fleet of ships for a while now, but none of the places we've seen are familiar in any way, and none of the people we've met have been able to help us, either. We don't even know how we got here.

So we've just got to accept the crazy space kidnapping? Probably not the weirdest thing to happen to us.

For the moment, yeah, unfortunately. Until we can actually do something, we're waiting it out.

At the risk of sounding complacent, it's not all bad.

[ He could say something about running water and Mikleo having it, but instead he shakes his head and decides on something else. ]

[Yeah you've got air pumped through the ships, too- the water is about as lively as that. Recycled elements aren't much better than none at all.]

[He hesitates here- not because he wants to hide it, but because he's not sure what to expect as a result. Sorey had mentioned that Zaveid had a connection with Dezel, but the details overall were pretty sparse. And he doesn't know what Zaveid knows from back home, but them being on good terms to begin with means he's probably joined with them already.

I might not see him anyway. We've landed on a new planet, so we've been separated for the most part.

[Maybe he could just... not go looking for Dezel until the shuffle happens. That's not really lying.]

What's the deal with you two, anyway? Why's he dislike you so much?

[It's true that they'd clashed enough times for a grudge to form, probably, but Dezel's vitriol had been so much more emphatic than the rest of them. Like it was personal.]

I feel like this is going to be another one of those things I'm better off not understanding.
