Oh, you should definitely contact him before you make any more, then. He said he'd modified it, and it's improved a lot now. The first batch was alright, but the consistency was pretty lacking.

[He hesitates a little, because honestly? He's not sure how Mikleo would react to hearing he's a Noah host- or at least, how he'd react after it's explained what a Noah is. Not that there's anything implicitly about Mikleo that makes him feel distrust, but...well, he's lost a few friendships over this.]

Let's just say...I've been sick for a long time. Sick with something that's supposed to be incurable. In a way, you could say thanks to the augment, I've been living on borrowed time these past years.

[Sure, the augment kept it from getting worse- but it was a leash, nothing more. A leash that was very prone to breaking]

Well...there's still no cure, not yet. But for the first time, someone's given me an effective treatment.

The number of times he'd tried to question allies about secrets kept, even with harmless inquiries, and been blocked by reluctance or oaths or a combination of reasons. He'd been prepared to accept no for an answer and leave it at that, though he'd always taken it with more reluctance than Sorey.
